A 10kg kettlebell is the perfect addition to a home gym if you're looking for a versatile piece of equipment. These kettlebells are made out of cast iron so it is durable making it effective for a dynamic workout.

10kg kettlebells will often be the next upgrade if you have been working out with an 8 kg. It might be good for some beginners that have experience with other weights, but may not be for those completely new to exercise.

What are 10kg kettlebells good for?

This intermediate kettlebell will improve overall strength. You will also gain a good core, balance, flexibility, and coordination. How you plan to use it will result in the required end goal.

Are kettlebells better than dumbbells?

Although the kettlebell has a better grip than the dumbbell, they aren't used in the same way. The Kettlebells are better because there is more physical movement. Its well-positioned handle provides a good challenge when you lift it for overhead work.

And it works the lower body in the same movement simultaneously. The 10 kg kettlebell is a good intermediate weight to achieve this balanced workout. But where it lacks in comparison is that the weight is below the handle and not balanced like the dumbbell.

What muscles do kettlebells work?

Movements like the kettlebell swing engage a large number of muscles. Your hips and your upper body drive it so there’s momentum and power involved in the movement.

When done properly, the heart rate increases. At the same time, it targets the muscles that make up the posterior chain. These would be your calf muscles, hamstrings, glutes, and the largest muscle in your back called the latissimus dorsi.

To conclude, 10kg kettlebells, like any other exercise equipment, can be used in a variety of ways to meet different individual needs.

All prices are for individual kettlebells.
